Land Art - Andy Goldsworthy style

This mornng we will go outside and make artwork from natural objects in the Andy Goldsworthy style. Keep your sketches and idea in mind, but you can change thigs arouns and try new ideas too.

When we're done we'll take pictures and upload them to a new blog post.

Draw sketches of Ideas for your land art

Draw a page of rough sketches or doodle of your ideas for your land art designs. Take a picture of your sketches and post them to your blog. Write a bit about the materials you plan to use.

Artist Research - Andy Goldsworthy - Land Art

This week we will learn about a very interesting artist named Andy Goldsworthy.

After answering some questions about his life and work you will go outside and create your own artwork based on his style of nature art.

Goldsworthy uses nature and natural settings to create a wide range of artworks.

Here is a cool project that he created last year at the Nelson Atkins museum in Kansas City.
